Longhua Tram began passenger service on Oct. 28, 2017. The 11.72-kilometer network has 20 stations and consists of a main line and a branch line.
The main line is 8.59 kilometers long, running from Qinghu to Xinlan with 15 stations. The 3.13-kilometer branch line runs from Dahe to Xiawei and has five stations. The tram connects with Shenzhen Metro Line 4 at Qinghu Station.
Routes
Route 1: Qinghu–Xinlan
Route 1 operates between Qinghu and Xinlan stations via the main line.
Route 2: Qinghu–Xiawei
Route 2 operates between Qinghu and Xiawei stations. It shares the Qinghu–Dahe section with Route 1 before branching toward Xiawei at Dahe Station.
First and last trains
Additional short-turn services operate from Xinlan to Guancheng and from Qinghu to Hexi after the last full-route trains, with the final departure at 11:40 p.m.
Service intervals
On weekdays, trams on the Qinghu–Xinlan and Qinghu–Xiawei routes run every nine minutes during peak periods from 7 to 9 a.m. and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The interval on the shared Qinghu–Dahe section is approximately four minutes and 30 seconds.
At other times on weekdays, trams run every 14 minutes on each route and every seven minutes on the shared section.
On weekends and public holidays, trams run every 10 minutes on each route between 4 and 8:30 p.m., with a five-minute interval on the shared section. During off-peak periods, the intervals are 14 minutes and seven minutes, respectively.
Service times and intervals are subject to operational adjustments. Passengers are advised to check the latest information posted at tram stations before traveling.
